Our Mission

Sustainability relates to the continuity of economic, social, institutional and environmental aspects of our society. We strive for an environmentally and economically just and sustainable future through our commitment to people, profits, and the planet. We seek to contribute to the international assessment of paradigms in business and technology through green building, and by creating partnerships with business owners, government agencies, and educational institutions.

Our Commitment

To further serve our clients and the community, CodeGreen actively supports efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our actions and build awareness for pertinent environmental issues.

CodeGreen has a strong relationship with The Nature Conservancy and is committed to support efforts that promote environmental protection and preservation.

  • Best Management Practices

The CodeGreen team practices sustainability by promoting an efficient and  healthy working environment.  Try implementing some of the green tips we follow to reduce your office footprint:

  • Save more than your money - think before you print!  Promote the use of electronic documents - when printing cannot be avoided, double-side and select black and white.

  • Look for the Energy Star label when purchasing electronics.  Set your computer to hibernate when not in use and shut down at the end of the day.  If you step away from your desk for some time, quickly turn off the monitor.

  • Capitalize on natural light and heat for your space and choose task lighting before overhead lighting if necessary.

  • Purchase products that contain recycled content and are produced in an environmentally friendly manner.

  • Charge cell phones during the day and unplug when done to avoid excess energy being drawn after charge is complete.

  • Ordering lunch?  Look for "green" alternatives when catering.

  • Implement an employee health and wellness program.

  • Keep a closed-loop system by reducing and reusing.
